This Gallery displays scenes a visitor strolling through New York would have seen in 1872. The stroll starts at the Battery, Manhattan's southern tip. It proceeds past Wall Street and up Broadway. Detours along the way take the visitor up Nassau Street and through Printing House Square. Further up the island, the path winds over to Fifth Avenue and off to the Bowery. The stroll ends with a wander around Central Park.
